gracesu-deactivated20110221-dea asked: hi, I'd just like to say I'm so glad you made this cause it really helps me with my korean ^^ (fail korean that can't speak her own language xD)
and I have a question~ so I have to do this self introduction for my korean class and I have to say how many people I live with. If I say: 엄마랑 아빠랑 오빠랑 할머니랑 할아버지 같치 사라요, would that be correct? I'm not sure how I would say "I live with my mom, dad, brother, grandma, and grandpa" thanks ^^;
Haha you and me are in the same boat. I can’t speak Korean that well either. >< A lot of this blog is just stuff I remember from high school to be completely honest.
To answer your question, yeah it sounds correct. There’s a spelling error at the end; it should be “같이 살아요”. Though I know language classes are all about word/sentence counting, so if you need/want to, you can put “우리 집에 다섯 사람 같이 살아요” before that sentence. Totally unnecessary, but if your Korean teacher is anything like mine, it might come in handy. =P
